Associated Consultants in Africa (ASCON AFRICA) is a consulting firm based in Harare, Zimbabwe and associate offices in South Africa  which provides consultancy services to the mining, civil infrastructre and industrial development . The Senior principals (Dermot Knight, formerly Chief Executive of Scott Wilson Africa; Newton Madanhi, formerly Chief Executive of Scott Wilson Zimbabwe; and Farai Bernard Chifetete, for a long time an independent Consulting Mining Engineer) are experts in their fields and together have over 80 years experience in the mining and construction industries.

The expertise is enhanced by a team of experienced civil and structural engineers, mining engineers, geologists, metallurgists, environmentalists as well as administrative and other skilled technical support staff. In addition to its own staff the firm has an extensive network of associate consultants who are recognized experts in their fields. The firm also enjoys technical support and collaboration wherever necessary with the worldwide Scott Wilson Group, and selected regional and international specialist firms.
